Steps in Taking Your Apple Certification Exam

Gaining an Apple certification can help you demonstrate your technical competency and make you stand out among your peers when it comes time to apply for jobs. You’ll be able to publicize your certifications on the Apple Certified Professionals Registry and be able to display your personalized certificate and Apple logo that proves that you have taken the steps to become an Apple Certified professional.
The first step to earning your Apple certification is to pick a certification path. If your skills are at the beginner level, you may choose to earn an Apple Certified Associate certification, while more advanced skills may lead you to consider the Apple Certified Pro certifications. Specific skills can be tested in one of the following certification paths: OS X, Pro Apps, and iWork.

Secondly, you will need to pick a specific location to take your exam. All exams are offered through Apple Authorized Training Centers, though many can be taken online as well. If you wish to take your exam through an authorized training center, you can choose from countries in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
Once you have chosen your specific location, you will need to register online to take your exam through Apple’s website. After registering, you’ll need to take the steps to prepare for your certification exam through Apple’s certification training programs or through TestsLive.
The final step is to take your exam. If you have prepared yourself adequately, you will pass the exam. This will allow you to earn your certification and allow you to build substantial credibility with potential employers.
